Windows Key - Disable the Windows Key

Create a new Binary value, or modify the existing value, called 'Scancode Map' and edit the value according to the settings below.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
Keyboard Layout. Value Name: Scancode Map, Data Type: REG_BINARY (Binary Value), Value Data: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 5B E0 00 00 5C E0 00 00 00 00
A REG (Registry) file that will make this change for you can be downloaded here. Save the file to your hard drive and double click it. Answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right clicking the file and selecting Edit.
